Our history:

December 2014 – Jack and Art went to Coatepeque, Guatemala, with Mark Vanceil the leader of Living Water World Missions. We installed a LWW system in a church that would service over 200 Compassion International kids and parents lunch each day.

November 2016 – First trip to Laos – Art, Jack and Scott with the Lao Partners of University Pres Church, Fresno. We inspected and performed maintenance and repair on I think six previously installed systems. We also looked for possible new sites

November 2017 – Second trip to Laos, by Art, Jack and Scott with Lao Partners. We did maintenance and repairs on a couple of the systems. Did some additional mission work in a few small villages.

March 2018 – Trip to Ecuador, by Johan and Art to explore different potential locations for a water system.

people from the village where the plans for the system were presented.

November 2018 – Third trip to Laos, only Scott went with one other Lao from Univ. Pres. At this time Lao Partners decided that the support of the Lao Evangelical Church was not strong enough to sustain the installations of the LWW system in 8 locations. Therefore, Lao Partners withdrew from any additional trips to install or try to maintain systems in Laos.

December 6, 2018 – Our group at Church of Newhall formed AguaNam. Since Jack, Art, Scott, Johan and his wife attended weeklong training run by Living Waters of the World (LWW) and we had hands on installation and maintenance experience in Guatemala and Laos, we decided we were ready to take on this ministry to more efficiently look for other opportunities.

Art travelled with the Sister Cities project of Santa Clarita to Ecuador to build relationships and explored for potential sites for LWW system. During this exploration, the village of Pastocalle was recommended and selected as a potential site and a friendship built with Jorge Garcia, the water commissioner.

April 2019 – Johan and Evelyne to Ecuador to check on the location that Jorge, water commissioner, had proposed for a system. We attended a meeting with several hundred enthusiastic

July 2019 – Installation of a complete water system in Pastocalle, Ecuador by Johan, Scott and John. We continue to support this working system which being maintained locally. We hope to return after covid to look for other prospective installation sites.
