It was a warm summer day when the Pres Club met on June 15th in Fellowship Hall.  In spite of the warm weather, attendance was good and a fun time was had by all.  The delicious food was prepared by Dorothy Harris, Helen Ravenstine, Janet Macey, May Valiton and Dorothy Cashon.  Helen Johnson, Doris Hill and Chris Ertel also assisted with the festivities.  Since it was Flag Day, the theme was patriotic and the many decorations and flags were beautiful!  Bill Ward gave the blessing and all settled down to a wonderful lunch.  Dave Prior was in charge of the program which was a video entitled, "The Many Faces of Old Glory," about our flag.  It was very interesting and enjoyed by all.  Thanks Dave and Roma!
We were delighted to have Joanna and Bill Thompson as our guests.  They moved away a short time ago and love their new home, but they were glad to be back among old friends.  New guests were Eleanore and Dave Robinson and Duane Manuel.  We hope they enjoyed the day and will come back in August.
We heard the sad news that Jim and Sheila Brookes sold their house and are moving away.  It's hard to see old friends go.  We will miss them very much, and we wish them every happiness in their new location.
Ray and Alice Harnagel, old-time members, have moved to Sunrise Apartments, #254, due to health reasons.  Their new phone number is 254-9254.  We hope they will be able to join us again when they feel well enough.
