developing new ministries for our children and the
children in our community. Each Wednesday night
the Pioneer Club that Lorna initiated and led included 28
children in a fellowship dinner, Bible lessons, memory verses,
games, service and singing. Many of the children
involved in this program were not from our church
families. Lorna has also done a wonderful job with our
Sunday School, Children's Church, VBS and other special
events. We were also blessed by her preaching and
children sermons.
The church staff and I will especially
miss Lorna's enthusiasm and energy for the Lord's ministry and
her warm and caring spirit. She has been such a
wonderful colleague and friend to Paul, Nelson, Ana, and
me. She has made our staff meetings so much more fun and
lively. Lorna has also been so encouraging and helpful
to our CE committee and our elders. We all love Lorna
and are so sad that she is moving.
We wish all of God's
blessings upon the Lawrence family as they move to
Wisconsin. We pray that God will guide and protect them
and lead them to a church where they will be loved and
spiritually nurtured. If you would like to contact
