I was privileged to be a voting delegate at the July Gathering in Louisville. I attended business meetings  daily from 1:00 until 5:00, but mornings and evenings were spent in Plenary sessions.  The highlights of my six days were :1 watching artist, Jenny Godfrey create a painting to "illuminate Joan Martin's lecture, 2. hearing Janice Catron  speak on the business of being a Christian, 3.learning about  living with AIDS from  Sinikthemba, - a South African choir composed of 15 HIV-positive members 4. watching the Sigimsae dance and drum ensemble 5. listening to Syngman Rhee's daughter , Anna, share her vision of peace, 6. being inspired by Elizabeth Tapia's multiples of seven address, 7. the stories of our Global Partners, and 8. being entertained by the Forbearance Presbyterian Church "Horizons" skits.
