At the request of those at the Annual Congregation
Meeting, February 2, 2003, we submit this breakdown of how we
used the money you entrusted to us.
Pastoral
Care: We
gave $1335.00
supporting
those members serving as missionaries and those having
emergency needs.
Scholarships: We gave $538.55 for camp scholarships and gifts
for graduating high school seniors.
Community Care:
$1549.90 was
used for scrip for those needing food and gas, plus lodging
when needed. We helped Little Shepherd Nursery
School with their Playground Fund.
Worship: We used $942.19 for flowers at Easter, Mother's
Day, and Father's Day. We also had a new set of
communion ware made by a local potter.
Hospitality: We used $1351.25 to serve coffee and sometimes
cake after our services, plus hosting the Ice Cream
Sociable.
In total, we disbursed $5716.89 in 2002.
We started with a
balance of $2425
in the bank and finished the year with $945, which you quickly started
replenishing in January. Thank you for your
support.
