Listen, do I have a surprise for you. VeggieTown
is coming to First Presbyterian Church June 26 -
30th, 8:45 a.m.
to 12:15 p.m. It will be a week to remember. Larry
the cucumber and Bob the tomato invite you to a week of fun,
games, music and learning. Become a resident of
VeggieTown and you will learn to be Respectful, Obedient,
Thankful, Faithful, and Teachable.
The Mayor of
VeggieTown will welcome the young citizens (children) each
day. Larry and Bob will mesmerize all the citizens with
their wisdom and laughter. Every citizen will have a day
in a different business: Animation Studio, Factory, Doctor's
Office, Pet Store, and the Court House. Job Site Leaders
(teachers) and their assistants will lead the citizens in a
Bible Lesson. A VeggieTown video will reinforce the
lesson.
The citizens will be kept very active.
Missions
will be a
special time where we will decorate bags and fill them with
personal necessities that local organizations can give to
those in need. Recreation and snack is an activity that all the citizens will
look forward to. Go For it Time will reinforce the lessons, and
the Squad leaders will help the citizens to apply the lessons
to their own lives. Also, Music will be a highlight this year
because of the Friday night Vacation Bible School
Program.
Let's recap, plan on coming to VeggieTown
Values On the Job Training June 26-30th. Each day will
start at the Town Square (patio) at 8:45 a.m. and move to the
Job Fair (sanctuary). All the activities will be over at
12:15 p.m. WOW! It looks like we are going
